AFTER THE FALL // INDIVIDUAL RULE ENTRY
Vehicle Rules
This is an individual rule page from the official After The Fall RP rules archive for players researching the server and its DayZ roleplay standards.
Vehicle Limits
Vehicle limits are based on the number of active members in the group:
- Solo player: 2 vehicles and 1 boat.
- Group with 2–4 members: 3 vehicles and 1 boat.
- Faction with 5–10 members: 6 vehicles and 3 boats.
- Faction with more than 10 members: 7 vehicles and 4 boats.
Groups and factions remain limited to 1 helicopter unless staff approval is granted.
Vehicles stored for inactive members, hidden vehicles, and vehicles kept at secondary locations still count toward the limit.
Staff may remove excess vehicles after notifying the owner or group.
General Vehicle Rules
VDM is not permitted.
All vehicle compensation clips must be recorded from the driver’s perspective.
Passenger footage may be considered as supporting evidence but will not replace footage from the driver.
If you crash and do not have a clip from the driver’s perspective, you will not receive compensation except under exceptional circumstances.
If you are flying or driving over 70, crash, and die or destroy your vehicle, you will not be compensated.
Vehicles do not take damage under 70, and going over 70 can cause desync issues.
Driving or flying over 70 is at your own risk.
Vehicle Hostile RP
Do not initiate hostile RP on fast-moving vehicles.
The driver must have a realistic chance to hear, understand, and respond to demands.
Vehicle-related hostile RP will be reviewed heavily based on evidence.
Do not deliberately run people over or use vehicles as weapons.
Roadblocks
Roadblocks must have a valid RP reason.
Roadblocks may not be used to steal loot or vehicles.
Roadblocks must be realistic, manned, and removed when no longer actively used.
Do not use unrealistic objects or roadblocks intended to cause unavoidable crashes.
Vehicle Theft & Griefing
Vehicles are not bases.
Vehicles may be stolen if left unsecured.
Damaging or destroying unattended vehicles without a valid RP reason is considered griefing.
